...or How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love My Microphone

So, originally I was intending to only 'launch' The Melted Face Orchestra once I'd got at least an EP's worth of stuff for it, but, you know, circumstances have meant I haven't really got around to recording or indeed writing anything recently so I suppose the gestation period for this may be a little longer than your average Enough Rope record. The plan is to do a double CD, split between acoustic singery Proper Songs on the main disc, and a second disc of improvised, largely acoustic fuckabouts.

Partially prompted by the fear that I may never get round to completing this, er, project, here is some music.

Featuring singing and some unimportant words that I wrote. Yeah, I know, the guitar sound is a little on the weak side, I should have used a more expensive/full-sized guitar, but think of this as like, keepin' it real.

I have some better songs than this, I just need to write the lyrics, which is a fucking pain.

Roughly 3 minutes of entirely improvised shit which I made up as I went along, as the word 'improvised' implies. Came off surprisingly well, although the quietness of the opening makes for some hissin'.

Er, there's no sort of big theory to the name or the fact that I'm not using the Enough Rope nom de plume for this, I just have a load of potential band names and figured I can use different ones when I do shit that's slightly, well, different. Enjoy! Or don't, either way is cool.
